Do you believe in fairies? The highlands do!

 

Autumn has arrived, and with it fog, moss, and fairy mushrooms! The boys are enchanted by autumn, by far the best and most beautiful season in our part of the country.

 

But, please, don't eat these mushrooms! These are a type of poisonous toadstool called fly agaric (amanita muscaria). Oh, and if you eat them, the fairies will have to move out ;)

flashback to the belly days

Okay, so I am chronologically all over the place, but these photos were such fun to take with my two beautiful big boys, and taken just the day before Charlie arrived. To get things back into order, here is a more recent photo of my gorgeous wee one - trying to show off his "over-baked" peeling hands and smoochy, smoochy lips.
